Content Standards
Travel-document requirements can affect real applications. We therefore separate general service information from country-specific guidance and make clear when requirements can vary.
Primary sources first
For country-specific requirements, we prefer government, embassy, consular, immigration or other competent-authority sources. Third-party information may help identify questions, but it does not override official instructions.
No universal acceptance claims
We avoid statements such as “accepted by every embassy” or “required for all visas.” Requirements can differ by visa type, application location and applicant circumstances.
Review dates
Material country guidance is reviewed when appropriate and may show a review date so readers can judge how current the information is.
Country pages must add useful information
We only add a country-specific guide when there is meaningful information to explain, such as different supporting-document rules, official guidance or practical itinerary considerations.
Corrections
If official guidance changes, the affected page should be corrected. Current instructions from the competent authority always take priority over information on this website.
